GrocrAI Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the GrocrAI app and its services. By using the app you agree to them. Questions: bret.babcock@gmail.com.

What GrocrAI is

GrocrAI helps a household plan meals, build grocery lists, compare store prices, and send items to a Kroger cart. It is a planning tool. It does not sell groceries, process payments, or place orders.

Prices and store information

Prices shown in the app come from the retailers' systems or public listings at the time of the request. They can be wrong, out of date, or differ from what you pay at checkout. Item matches are automated: the app picks the product it believes matches your list entry, and it can pick the wrong size, brand, or product. Review your cart at the retailer before you buy.

Totals, fees, and savings shown in price comparisons are estimates. Delivery fees, order minimums, and membership benefits are modeled from the retailers' published terms and may not reflect your account.

AI-generated content

Meal plans, recipes, substitutions, and nutrition figures are produced by an AI model and are not reviewed by a dietitian, doctor, or chef. They may contain mistakes. You are responsible for checking recipes against your family's allergies, medical conditions, and dietary restrictions before cooking or buying. Nutrition numbers are approximate.

Your Kroger account

Connecting Kroger links your Kroger account to the app through Kroger's own sign-in. Items the app adds to your cart are added under your account; buying is done by you at Kroger. Kroger's terms apply to your Kroger account. Disconnect at any time from Profile.

Household Sync

If you pair devices, the content you sync is shared with everyone who has a paired device. Pair only devices you trust. You can remove a device from the app at any time.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to break the law, to overload or interfere with our service or the retailers' services, or to access another household's data.

Availability

The app is provided as is. We do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or that retailer integrations will keep working; retailers can change or withdraw their services at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, GrocrAI is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for losses arising from inaccurate prices, product matches, recipes, or nutrition information. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim, which may be zero.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted in the app, with the date above updated. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
